Overview

Within Greenacres you’ll find  a wide range of communal areas, including welcoming lounges, cosy corners and inviting dining rooms. Throughout the home, you will notice special features, such as brightly coloured bedroom doors, which are specifically designed to assist with orientation and help enable our residents living with dementia to live as independently as possible.

Each of our bedrooms has en-suite facilities and all are fully furnished.

At the heart of the home is a large enclosed landscaped garden with a number of seating areas. This tranquil setting provides an ideal space to relax in, and is particularly popular during the warmer months when it plays host to summer parties and BBQs.

We also have a designated Activity Care Worker who is on hand to plan a wide range of activities for our residents to enjoy. From arts and crafts and light exercise, to entertainment and days out, there’s always something to take part in and enjoy.

Words cannot express our gratitude to each and every one of you for caring daily for our dear dad. We always felt comforted that he was so well cared for, with dignity and respect. Difficult tasks and situations were taken from us by you all and for that we are so very grateful. You all do a demanding, difficult job but you do it with care and love and that’s what makes all the difference. We have nothing but praise for you all, you are amazing!

We are so pleased that we chose Greenacres to look after dad. The care that you gave him, in all areas, was professional yet kind and caring, and with respect for him as a person. How you all continued to laugh at his Norman Wisdom jokes etc., hour after hour, day in day out, we will never know. Thank you all for your kindness, care and consideration to him. The standards that you have set at Greenacres are high and we trust they will continue for all who follow in his footsteps. Good wishes to you all.

I wish to thank Greenacres for the wonderful care they give my aunt who is a resident there. She’s been living there for about a year and nothing is too much trouble for them. She is treated in such a way that she feels at home. The work hard to make it attractive as well as homely for the people living there. The care workers and staff are very kind and considerate of the residents Greenacres is a calm and well run home and I would recommend it to anyone.
