Meet our team

Jackie Makwangwala
Home Manager

My priority is communication, I make sure I’m understood and understand others and value and respect their input.

The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home, taking care of the business side of things and ensuring their home provides a high standard of care. While each Manager brings their own flair to the role, they do all have some qualities in common, especially their leadership and organisational skills. The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside the more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience in caring for older people.

Bradley Glennon
Deputy Home Manager

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their own skillset to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.

Ben Clarke
Chef Manager

The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes. They also create and provide fine dining events, using Quantum Care’s award-winning Dining Club concept.

Elaine Frame
Housekeeping Manager

I enjoy my job because no two days are alike and I like the challenges that my role brings.

Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of it as these Managers work alongside them to keep the home clean and inviting. The comfort of residents is the most important thing to our Housekeeping Managers which is why they work so hard to create an environment in which residents can’t help but feel at home. Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where resident’s dignity is never compromised and independence is always encouraged.  Our Housekeeping Managers ensure that all areas of our home are safe, clean, well maintained and presented in a way to create a warm and homely environment.  They have an important role in maintaining our infection, prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay well.

Liya Delwar

The Administrator will focus on the smooth running of the home; in whatever area they may be needed. From greeting visitors to recruiting, the Administrator is present in many aspects of life in the home, even if you don’t always see them! To be successful in the role, our Administrators have to be flexible and calm, able to multi-task and always keen to take on a new challenge. It’s often the Administrator that brings the IT skills to a home, helping them to keep everything organised. Above that though, Administrators are communicators, able to speak confidently and listen closely to everyone from Managers and Care Workers to visitors and residents.

Priyanka Pal

The Receptionist plays a key part in keeping the home operating as it should. The role involves everything from dealing with phone enquiries to showing around prospective residents. Organisational and communication skills are a must for a Receptionist as it’s these qualities that allow them to make life in the home easier for their colleagues and residents. Often the first person you’ll speak to when you come to the home, the Receptionist represents the company with a professional manner, friendly approach, and commitment to high-quality care.
