All of our communal areas also feature air conditioning.
Each of the en-suite bedrooms within the home are finished to an exceptional standard and are designed to offer all the comfort and convenience you deserve. Wi-Fi is not only available within each bedroom, but also throughout the whole home.
Melwood Grange’s inspirational design flows perfectly from the landscape in which it is situated. The beautifully tiered landscaped gardens push innovative garden design to the limit with their direct access from all three floors. Many bedrooms also benefit from direct access to these extraordinary outside spaces. Perfect for the warmer months.

The compassionate staff, for whom nothing is too much, are there to ensure you are well taken care of. They’ll make sure that they know exactly what your needs are and will make sure that these needs are met.
The activities team within the home will help you to embrace life and support you to pursue the things that bring you joy and contentment. They will create a weekly schedule of events that you can choose to take part in and will work with you to help you discover new hobbies and pastimes, continue existing ones or even rediscover old ones.

General Manager
I am a dedicated and compassionate General Manager with many years of experience in the care industry. My unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the older people drives me to create a nurturing and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
I take a holistic approach, ensuring that each resident's physical, emotional, and social needs are met, fostering a true sense of community and belonging. I am dedicated to ensuring our care home remains a place of warmth, dignity, and respect for all.
Sherrie Wilkinson
Deputy Manager
I have worked for the care industry for many years and have undertaken training in management and leadership to improve my knowledge and skills and to develop into a deputy manager. I train staff to enable them to enhance their knowledge and skills, and I also champion staff as I believe there is always room for more development, to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care. It is very important to me that I develop good relationships with residents, staff, relatives and others as we all aim for the same goal, for our residents to be happy, safe and cared for to the highest standard.
Daniel Stevens
Chef Manager
The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.
Scott Brooker
Customer Relationship Manager
Scott brings his customer relationship experience in the care sector to Melwood Grange. In his role, Scott focuses on supporting new residents as they settle into their new home. He dedicates his time to connecting with the local community, ensuring residents feel welcomed and integrated into their new surroundings.
Derek Robinson
Hospitality Manager
Derek is the Hospitality Manager at Melwood Grange and brings with him over 25 years of experience and expertise in the hospitality industry. He is dedicated to overseeing all aspects of hospitality at Melwood Grange, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and their families.
Jayne Bursnall
Administrator
Jane has been with Quantum Care for several years and has recently transitioned to Melwood Grange from our previous home, Richard Cox House. In her administrative role, Jane supports the home by managing all administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective organization across the home.
Tina Neal
Receptionist
Tina has previously worked as a Receptionist in Care, Education and local Government. She has joined us following her move to live in Royston. Tina will be welcoming and supporting everyone who comes to Melwood Grange.
Heidi Cross
Receptionist
Heidi has a background in hotel management gained while working at Disneyland Paris and the French Alps. She was also a flight attendant for British Airways for 12 years. Now living in Royston, Heidi is welcoming and supporting everyone who comes to Melwood Grange.
