Oakmoor Lodge news

Looking for a care home can sometimes feel a little bit daunting, which is why we are holding Saturday open days at Oakmoor Lodge in May, June and July.

We regularly enjoy a visit from Shirley and her 4 legged therapy dog Button and Claire with her therapy dog Pixie. Animal therapy has been proven to be a big hit with our residents whose smiling faces attest to this.

Our residents and team enjoyed a fabulous 60s themed party, where we were joined by our relativities, local charities and the guests from the local community. Everyone got dressed up in their finest 60s outfits and had a thoroughly fantastic time.

On Saturday 4th March 2023 we held a public open day for Oakmoor Lodge, our new luxury care home in Bushey. We’re pleased to say that the response from the local community was excellent and we showed a number of groups around the home during a very busy morning and early afternoon.

On Wednesday 28th April 2023 the Mayor of Hertsmere Councillor Anne Swerling was joined by Councillor Laurence Brass, Maria Ball, Quantum Care’s Chief Executive and Nigel Berney and Guy Harman, Co-Founders of NL Property to perform a topping out ceremony for our new care home for older people in
