Welcome to Pinewood Lodge
Pinewood Lodge is a purpose-built care home in South Oxhey, offering a range of care services for older people.
Pleasantly situated in a quiet residential area, with woodlands and open fields near to the home, Pinewood Lodge offers residential and specialist dementia care, as well as short-stay breaks and day care for those living within the community.

The day care service is aimed at those who may benefit from a little extra support and the opportunity to meet new people and try new things with us. To find out more about day care, take a look at our Q Club page.
With a wide range of communal areas including lounges, cosy corners, dining rooms, themed areas and more, there are plenty of opportunities to socialise and spend your time with others, but you are welcome to simply enjoy the privacy of your own room. All bedrooms are fully furnished and include en-suite facilities.
At Pinewood Lodge, our team of Activity Care Workers are on hand to plan a wide range of activities for you to enjoy. Within the home, you will find a Best Friends Café, where you can enjoy tea, coffee and homemade cakes with visiting family and friends.
The home runs a number of clubs to suit the interests of the residents so you are sure to find something to get involved with.

Q-Club
Q-Club
Welcome to Pinewood Lodge Q Club. Open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, our Oxhey club offers day guests the opportunity to make new friends, whilst taking part in a choice of activities.
Most of our day care centres are attached to one of our care homes which means that many of the facilities available to our full time residents are also available to our day care guests - such as a visit to the hairdresser (booked directly with the centre).
The Pinewood Q Club team would be delighted to welcome your family member into our Oxhey club. Within the purpose built Q Club which is designed to suit the needs of our members, they offer a host of activities from games, exercises, music, cooking, quizzes and more. The team also enjoy celebrating special occasions such as birthdays and nationwide events, and do their best to help members with any day to day issues, such as booking an appointment with their GP”

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Manager’s will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.

I am the Chef Manager at Pinewood Lodge, I have worked here since 2013 started as a carer looking after residents and know I get to look after them in a different way by ensuring they have deliciously cooked meals daily, and ensuring their nutritional needs are being met. I get great satisfaction from this.

I am the House Keeping manager, I have been at Pinewood Lodge since 2016, I started as a casual Handyman, I developed my skills and moved my way up to Housekeeping Manager, where I motivate a team of excellent housekeepers.

I am the administrator for Pinewood lodge, I love my job and the fact that no two days are the same. I have worked for Quantum care – Pinewood Lodge for just over 6 years, I started as a carer in 2012 I love working in care.
