Sarah Adlam

I really enjoy the day to day variety and challenges my job brings, as well as the general running of the home.

Alicia Ncube
Deputy Manager
Aspects of my job that I enjoy most are culture, diversity and the relaxed atmosphere. Our person-centered approach affords dignity and respect to those in our care. It promotes independence and well-being. Our equal opportunities policy affords employees the freedom to explore different ideas and create a close network of workers with teamwork spirit. This encourages continuous self-development. The value and recognition given to each employee and the interaction between families workers and residents creates a relaxed and fulfilling environment for residents with diverse ailments such as Dementia. It also gives a satisfying and rewarding feeling each working day.

I like knowing I help to make a difference on a daily basis to the residents’ lives, and hopefully I help to brighten up their day.

Debbie Gibson
Housekeeping Manager
Supervising and organising their teams is just part of it as these Managers work alongside them to keep the home clean and inviting. The comfort of residents is the most important thing to our Housekeeping Managers which is why they work so hard to create an environment in which residents can’t help but feel at home. Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where resident’s dignity is never compromised and independence is always encouraged. Our Housekeeping Managers ensure that all areas of our home are safe, clean, well maintained and presented in a way to create a warm and homely environment. They have an important role in maintaining our infection, prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay well.

Claire Gilbert
Housekeeping Manager

My name is Claire Gilbert and I have worked for Quantum Care at Willow Court for many years. I have had multiple job roles, starting as a care worker and leading up to becoming a housekeeping manager.  I enjoy my job as I like learning new skills, working as part of a team and meeting residents and their families.

Hollie Wiseman
Administrator

The Administrator will focus on the smooth running of the home; in whatever area they may be needed. From greeting visitors to recruiting, the Administrator is present in many aspects of life in the home, even if you don’t always see them! To be successful in the role, our Administrators have to be flexible and calm, able to multi-task and always keen to take on a new challenge. It’s often the Administrator that brings the IT skills to a home, helping them to keep everything organised. Above that though, Administrators are communicators, able to speak confidently and listen closely to everyone from Managers and Care Workers to visitors and residents.
