Meet our team
Agnes Tonk
General Manager
I began my career in care around nine years ago as a Care Assistant in a nursing home, driven by a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Since then, I have developed my experience across a variety of roles, including Senior Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Night Manager, and Home Manager. Each step of my journey has given me valuable insight into the different aspects of care and the importance of strong, compassionate leadership.
I believe that to be an effective Registered Manager, it is essential to truly understand people—their individual strengths, skills, and potential, as well as the areas where they may need additional support. By recognising and valuing these differences, I can build a team that feels confident, capable, and motivated in their roles.
Creating a positive and supportive environment for my team is a key priority for me. I am committed to ensuring that staff feel safe, respected, and empowered to deliver the highest standards of care. When people feel supported and valued, they are able to provide compassionate, person-centred care that enhances the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.
I take great pride in leading by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, trust, and continuous development. My ultimate goal is to create a home where residents feel comfortable, respected, and truly cared for, and where staff feel proud of the difference they make every day.

Deputy Manager
The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Manager’s will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.
Sadie Martin
Deputy Manager
I started my career in care as a care assistant over 20 years ago. I then gained experience and started working in a number of different roles including day senior care assistant, night senior care assistant, wellness co-ordinator and deputy manager.
I knew from an early age that I wanted to care for older people and help to make a difference to their lives. I think that ensuring our residents are living their best lives is essential and to be part of that with a like-minded team is very special.
My role as a deputy manager is to support the team to provide the best standard of care to our residents and to ensure every day is as enjoyable as possible for all.
Amy Miles

Sarah Gurney
Receptionist
The receptionist plays a key part in keeping the home operating as it should. The role involves everything from dealing with phone enquiries to showing around prospective residents. Organisational and communication skills are a must for a receptionist as it’s these qualities that allow them to make life in the home easier for their colleagues and residents. Often the first person you’ll speak to when you come to the home, the receptionist represents the company with a professional manner, friendly approach, and commitment to high-quality care.
