Meet our team
Stephen Bennett
Home Manager
My Career in Health and social care has always been guided by the desire to deliver the highest standard of personalised care, while leading and inspiring a team to do exactly the same.
With over 30 years of working across Health and Social care, I remain deeply passionate about ensuring that people receive compassionate dignified person-centred care that recognises them as individuals.
For me, care is about much more than meeting needs. It is about understanding each person’s life story, their preferences their relationships and what truly matters to them. I strongly believe that care should always be delivered holistically and respectfully while promoting dignity and independence.
Thandekile Sithole-Kainga
Deputy Manager
The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their unique skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.
Tessa Adulaja
Chef Manager
The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.
Lesley Wood
Housekeeping Manager
Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of their role as these managers work alongside their team to keep the home clean and inviting. The team play an important role in maintaining our infection prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay safe and well.
Elizabeth Noack
Administrator
I have worked as an administrator for over 20 years in various sectors. I have my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Business Administration and an NVQ Level 2 in using IT. This is my first time working in a care setting and I love that I can use my many varied administration skills to help residents, families and all my colleagues in the day to day running of the home. I look forward to learning new skills and having many new experiences at Tye Green Lodge.
Kelly Van Rooyen
Receptionist
The receptionist plays a key part in keeping the home operating as it should. The role involves everything from dealing with phone enquiries to showing around prospective residents. Organisational and communication skills are a must for a receptionist as it’s these qualities that allow them to make life in the home easier for their colleagues and residents. Often the first person you’ll speak to when you come to the home, the receptionist represents the company with a professional manner, friendly approach, and commitment to high-quality care.
