Hanukkah at Greenacres

Greenacres in Hatfield have been learning about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah – they ate doughnuts and learned about sufganiyah which are round jelly doughnuts eaten in celebration of this time. They symbolise the oil lamps that are burned for eight nights in the Hanukkah story.
