We’re proud to announce that Furzewood Lodge, our new care home in South Oxhey, Watford, opened its doors to residents on Monday 14th September.
The home provides 75 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, alongside a wide range of facilities designed to support residents’ comfort and wellbeing.
Residents can make use of a dedicated cinema room, hair and beauty salon, activities lounge, private dining and celebration room, family room and café bistro. The home also features beautifully landscaped gardens, with access from each floor, providing residents with opportunities to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year.
Furzewood Lodge provides a range of care services, including residential care, specialist dementia care and short-stay respite care, supported by an experienced team committed to providing personalised care and helping residents live well every day.
The opening also represents an important addition to the local community, providing families in South Oxhey, Watford and surrounding areas with a new option when looking for care and support for a loved one.
We are a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, meaning our focus is on our residents. All of our resources are directed back into our services, teams and the quality of life of the people we care for. We welcome Furzewood Lodge into our family of care homes.
