When she came to you in 2022, we were placing her in your hands with so much worry and emotion. Very quickly, those fears were eased by your kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. You didn’t just care for her, you truly cared about her well being and happiness and that meant everything to us. She loved being in Rowan it became her home and safe space .
In her final week, when she was no longer able to get out of bed, the tenderness you showed her touched us more than we can ever properly express. The fairy lights you put up in her room, the lavender diffuser, her favourite flowers you bought especially for her, and the music you played that she loved. Those small, thoughtful acts were filled with love. You made her room a peaceful, comforting place, and you made her feel cherished right to the end. *Granny* loved you all, and we could see how much she felt that love returned. Knowing she was surrounded by such compassion brings us great comfort now. Thank you for everything you did for our mom and granny, and for the kindness you showed us as a family. We will never forget it.
