    Meet our team

    Marta Carter

    Marta Carter

    Home Manager

The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home and ensures that the home provides a high standard of care. While each Manager brings their own flair to the role, they do all have some qualities in common, especially their leadership and organisational skills. The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside the more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience in caring for older people.

    Louise Lennon

    Deputy Manager

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.

    Housekeeping Manager

Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of their role as these managers work alongside their team to keep the home clean and inviting. The team play an important role in maintaining our infection prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay safe and well.

    Emma Tuturici

    Emma Tuturici

    Administrator

The Administrator will focus on the smooth running of the home; in whatever area they may be needed. From greeting visitors to recruiting, the Administrator is present in many aspects of life in the home, even if you don’t always see them! To be successful in the role, our Administrators have to be flexible and calm, able to multi-task and always keen to take on a new challenge. It’s often the Administrator that brings the IT skills to a home, helping them to keep everything organised. Above that though, Administrators are communicators, able to speak confidently and listen closely to everyone from Managers and Care Workers to visitors and residents.

    • Courtland Lodge Testimonial

My grandma, has been given a new lease of life at Courtland Lodge. The level of care is outstanding and it is just incredible what all the staff do, from different daily activities to pampering and healthcare. She has not been happier for years. And at the grand old age of 100! I do hope that the staff get the credit they so truly deserve.
    • Courtland Lodge Testimonial

Please pass on the family's gratitude to all at Courtland Lodge, for the care and attention mum received during her residence. We were so reassured to know that she was being well looked after. It took her a while to settle in but gradually relaxed and became content. We would gladly recommend Courtland Lodge to others.

When mum came to Courtland Lodge I was worried and felt guilty, but I soon discovered what a kind, caring place it is, from the cleaners to care staff and management! Mum settled in almost immediately. She loves the varied menu - "lovely food" she says. I am very impressed with all the fun entertainment, especially the pet therapy. The care staff are so caring and always smiling! Thank you to all for looking after my dear mum.
