Overview
Within Mountbatten Lodge you will find a range of communal areas including inviting lounges, cosy corners, welcoming dining rooms and more. All bedrooms are en-suite and are fully furnished. Each room benefits from internet connectivity, a telephone point and a nurse call system.
Within the home, you will also find a café where residents can sit and socialise with family and friends over tea, coffee and other refreshments.
The beautifully landscaped gardens offer a meandering walkway through the grounds with occasional seating areas. The perfect place to relax during the spring and summer months.
Mountbatten Lodge has a team of Activity Care Workers who are on hand to plan a wide range of activities for you to enjoy, from arts and crafts and gentle exercise, to entertainment and outings so there is always something to enjoy.

Beth Hoskins
Home Manager
I know how fortunate I am, as the Home Manager to be able to care for those at Mountbatten Lodge. I am passionate about my resident's care and happiness and ensuring that their needs are always met.

Emily Johnston-Burrows
Deputy Home Manager
I have worked at Quantum Care since 2014, starting as a care worker and progressing to deputy home manager. I have gained my teaching qualification which allows me to teach the following in-house; Manual Handling, Dementia, Medication, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Emergency Aid, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Food Safety & Nutrition. I have my Level 2 qualification in Seated Exercise and my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I am currently working towards my Level 5 Qualification.
My biggest passion in life is being able to give someone the best quality care and teaching and supporting my team to do the same. I have been in the care industry for many years and my passion is as strong as it was when I was 17.

I love being able to take my passion of food and cooking and make a difference to the lives of the residents here at Mountbatten Lodge.
Samantha Pinto
Housekeeping Manager
My job as a Housekeeping Manager allows me to be creative and effective whilst I manage my team of housekeepers to maintain high standards within the home. Quantum care allows me to enhance my talents whilst enabling me to gain positive relationships with our residents at Mountbatten Lodge.

Samantha Sharp
Administrator
I am the administrator for Mountbatten Lodge and have worked for Quantum Care for a number of years. I have loved my job since starting back in 2022 and love the relationships I have built with my residents and families.
