Elm View, our new care home in Bishop’s Stortford, has reached the finals of the annual Healthcare Design Awards.

We are delighted to announce that Riverside Lodge, our new care home in Rickmansworth, is now open. The home is situated on Church Street close to the Parish Church of St. Mary and the river Colne.

Congratulations to Zachary Ekpe, from Mayfair Lodge, who was a finalist at this year's Hertfordshire Care Providers Awards. The ceremony was held at Willows Farm near St. Albans and Zach attended with members of the Quantum Care team as well as members of his family.

We are delighted to announce that we have another 2 sets of finalists in national care awards. Mantles Court and Mountbatten Lodge have reached the finals of the Caring Uk Awards with the ceremony being held on the 7th December in Leicester.

The Quantum Care Community Challenge has been a month long even that has seen all of our care homes compete to complete 15 community related challenges.

On Friday 3rd November, Zachary Ekpe from Mayfair Lodge Care Home in Potters Bar was announced as the winner of the Care Home Activity Coordinator Award at the East of England Division of the Great British Care Awards.

Our congratulations go to Satpal Kambo, the Chef Manager at Garden City Court, for the wonderful recognition that she received in this year’s Vegetarian for Life Awards.

Our month-long Community Challenge, which ran during October, saw all 22 of our care homes attempt to complete 15 challenges, each of which was designed to encourage the building of stronger connections between their residents and the communities within which they live.

On Monday 16th of October, Mr Harjit Singh Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire and Gurch Randhawa, Professor of Diversity in Public Health and Director, Institute for Health Research at the University of Bedfordshire, visited Fosse House, one of our care homes in St. Albans.
